Principal, Classical Piano

Charles Wu started learning piano at the age of 17. Despite his late start, he secured admission into full time music study at NAFA where he studied with well-known pianists such as Boris Kraljevic and Lim Tsui Fang. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music Performance in 2009.

Charles Wu has always sought to challenge his students to achieve beyond what they think they are capable of. His students had secured prizes and awards in local competitions such as National Piano and Violin Competition, Asia Youth Piano Competition and Pearl River Piano Competition. Exam accomplishments of his students include Distinctions for DipABRSM in Music Performance and Teaching. Many of his young students has also secured Distinctions for their Grade 8 ABRSM before turning 12. For his teaching achievements, he was awarded Outstanding Teacher Award by Cristofori Music in 2016.

He is currently serving as a service and choral pianist at Wesley Methodist Church. He also enjoys running marathons.
